Call for papers is now on for the multi disciplinary annual RVTTI International conference. the conference,6th of its kind, will be held between 29th June-1st July, 2017,  will be held in may this year. its theme will be “Towards collaborative TVET: Promoting Accelerated Sustainable Development”

Special Sessions

The first special session will focus on the UNEVOC goal of Greening TVET. Topic invited to this track  include  Include but are not Limited to:

  • Trends in Greening TVET
  • Challenges, Issues and Opportunities in Greening TVET

The best paper on this sub-theme will receive a prize of USD 1000, subject to compliance to review reports, editorial comments, conference feedback and publication in AfriTVET Journal Volume 3. Check the following webpage for guidelines and more information.

the other special session will focus on Innovation. The  RVTTI 2nd Student Innovation Contest is seeking to identify and award the best innovations by students currently learning in TVET institutions within East Africa (who are not  university students). The winner will receive a cash reward of KShs. 200,000, and runners up, KShs.100,000 and KShs. 50,000 respectively. The best RVTTI student innovation will also receive KShs. 50,000.
