One of the key mandates of state department of planning and statistics is the spearheading the governments long term development blue print, Kenya vision 2030. The achievement depends on qualified workforce for the country’s productive efficiency and competitive. Hence under the social pillar, education has been prioritized in order to provide adequate manpower which is a prerequisite to achieve the envisioned newly industrialized status. Thus effort by TVET in providing increased access to technical education and training in Kenya is quite commendable as it will go along way in empowering our youth with technical and practical skills that are important foe them in preparation to entering the job market.
