UG county and RVTTI collaborate to launch CBET in the County. The guest of honor in the event was the Permanent Secretary State Department of Vocational and Technical Education (TVET) in the Ministry of Education, Dr Kevit Desai.
During the launch, Toyoka Kenya top brass signed a memorandum of understanding with the Technical and vocational institutions. that will see the motor vehicle manufacturer source its talent from the institutions. UG County Governor thanked the partners including, CDACC,GIZ for creating alternative route to higher education that embraces trade skills. He stated that CBET has to potential to raise one from a juakali workman to a doctor. He also thanked Toyota group for opening a fertilizer plant near farmers in Cheplaskei area.
