E-Learning and External Linkages
Coordination of e-Learning and external Linkages function in RVTTI. The department is comprised of four sections namely e-Learning & External Linkages, Language Centre, Digital Economic Hub(Jitume) and the Film hub(Studio). The department is used to coordinate external linkages, being one of the 5 UNESCO-UNEVOC Centres in Kenya among others namely; Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority(TVETA), Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Technical University of Mombasa(TUM) and University of Eldoret. The department has ensured coordination with International organizations like Bow Valley College (BVC) in offering internship opportunities for International Students by IYIP(International Youth Internship Programme) through Cican (Colleges and Institutes Canada). Other projects done include Greening TVET, that has seen the use of environmentally friendly sources of fuel for cooking. The department also boasts of offering foreign language training and skills in German, Chinese and French
Collaboration with external and International Organizations, Administration and support of Institutional Learning Management System, Foreign Language and skills training, Digital skills training and actualization in digitally enabled work, Media support for e-Learning Training Content.
