I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to Rift Valley Technical Training Institute. This is one of the greatest institutions in middle and Tertiary training which offers creative and innovative courses. It was voted the best institution in Performance Contracting (PC) 2008/2009 and 2010/2011. The Institution is also a ISO 9001:2015 certified.

The institution is a centre of excellence for the East Africa Community. The core driving force at RVTTI is to produce mid-level professionals and technologists who can devote themselves to a national development through the dissemination of technical knowledge in every field of society. Being an institution which was started in 1962 as a technical trade school and was later elevated to a post-secondary Technical, Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurial Training (TIVET) institution in 1986, the institution lies on a 40 acre piece of land in a strategic location 2 Kms from Eldoret- Kaptagat road opposite New KCC.

The specialized courses offered here are on full time and Online modes facilitated through Seven admitting departments providing practical instruction in Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Hospitality & Dietetics Management, Business & Development Studies, Information Communication Technology Pharmacy and Chemical Science Department and Medical and Biological Sciences Department. Board of Management operating under the Ministry of Education Science and Technology governs the institution.
