MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT.

In mechanical & automotive engineering department we offer courses in automotive engineering, Mechanical engineering (production and plant options), Welding and fabrication and Agricultural engineering. These courses are all offered at artisan, certificate, diploma and higher
diploma levels. Our courses are examined by both Kenya national examination council (KNEC) and Curriculum
Development, Accreditation and Certification Council (CDACC). Our training is skill centered, innovative and abreast with technological advances, thanks to our culture of excellence, highly
trained and competent trainers, and the state of art equipment in our workshops and laboratories.
The graduates of this department work in automobile, manufacturing, agricultural and food processing industries and research institutions among others. We inculcate high entrepreneurship
skills and attitude for self-employment and reliance.
It’s a beehive of activities at the department as we run fully fledged auto-garage, driving school, car wash among other income generating activities in the welding and fabrication as well as mechanical engineering workshops.
