Mechanical and Automotive department has Five sections namely:
1. Automotive Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering (Production option)
3. Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option)
4. Welding and Fabrication
5. Agricultural Engineering
Automotive Engineering section is the center of excellence in the Institution – Rift Valley Technical Training.
It has excellence in TVET Fairs, showcasing the Best Skills and innovations.
The department has three workshops, with training equipment and materials for Practical tasks and acquisition of skills for the Trainees enrolled in the courses offered in the department. That is Automotive, Mechanical and Welding work shops.
