Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department
The Electical and Electronics Department was started in 2010 .The department provides, promote and coordinate the provision of quality education, practical training and research for the empowerment of individuals to become responsible and competent electrical technicians who value education as a lifelong process for sustainable development.
The Department is divided into three sections: The Electrical power Section and The Instrumentation & control Section and Medical engineering section in order to facilitate efficient and quality service delivery to our stakeholders
We currently offer the following courses at our department
- Higher Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power option)
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Power option)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (instrumentation and control)
- Diploma in Medical Engineering.
- Craft in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical Installation Artisan .
- Short courses in solar installation – 2weeks continous,
- Basic PLC and motor rewinding – 2 weeks continous
